“Jasprit Bumrah IPL ki Taiyari Kar Rha hai”- Fans not happy with Bumrah missing T20 WC 2022

Jasprit Bumrah: With only a few days left in the T20 World Cup, all teams are preparing to the best of their abilities. After winning a three-match series 2-1 against the World Champions, Australia, India is engaged with South Africa for three T20Is. After that, India will travel to Australia for the T20 World Cup 2022.

However, ahead of a few weeks from the tournament start, India suffered a massive blow as India’s premium pacer, Jasprit Bumrah, has been ruled out of the T20 WC because of a back stress fracture. Thus, he needs another at least four weeks to recover, which means he will not be part of the Indian team for the upcoming ICC event.

Bumrah, who made his comeback in the second T20I against Australia on September 22, only played two matches in the series. Later, he was rested in the first T20I against South Africa on September 28, Monday at Trivandrum. This will be the biggest issue for India going into the World Cup because they are struggling with their pace bowling attack.

The prime example, as everyone saw in the Asia Cup 2022, where India wasn’t able to defend big totals as well. And now, in the absence of Bumrah, India is likely to face their biggest concern: death bowling. On the other hand, Mohammad Shami, who tested positive for COVID-19 a week ago, is also not fully fit.
