T20 World Cup: India is taking on the Netherlands in their second game of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022 at the Sydney Cricket Ground. After winning the toss, India decided to bat first. Rohit Sharma went in with the same playing XI. However, it didn’t start well for India as their opener looked rusty at the start.
India lost their first wicket when KL Rahul got out after scoring nine runs off 12 balls, and it was yet another failure for him following the Pakistan clash. It didn’t go well with the Indian fans as Rahul didn’t contribute much in the against Pakistan either. Fans trolled the star opener on Twitter.
Batting first, India made 179/2 in their 20 overs. Skipper Rohit Sharma made 53 off 39 balls. On the other hand, Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav had an unbeaten partnership of 95 runs for the third wicket. Virat was not out on 62 from 44 balls, with three fours and two sixes, while SKY made 51* off 25, with seven fours and one six.
