And after the end of the T20 WC, the FIFA World Cup will start after a break of one week.

Prize Money difference between FIFA World Cup and T20 World Cup 

Recently, on Friday, the International Cricket Council (ICC) revealed the amount of money that will be distributed in the upcoming WT20 in Australia. As per the announcement, the team that wins the tournament will be rewarded with an amount of 1.6 million USD (13 crore INR) and the runner-up will receive half of this amount, which will be 800,000 USD (6.75 crore INR).

16 teams in total will participate in T20 World Cup in Australia and every team will get some amount and also a win in a game will also get additional amount. But you will be surprised to know that the winner of the FIFA WC will get 26 times more than the T20 WC.

The upcoming FIFA World Cup will be held in Qatar and is likely to start in November. And FIFA announced that a huge amount of 440 million USD (3585 crore INR approx) will be distributed this time. They have increased by 4 million USD more as compared to the 2018 FIFA World Cup, which was won by France.

Well, that increased 4 million is almost the total of the T20 World Cup. However, the winner of the FIFA WC will get a prize of 42 million USD (342 crore INR) which is 26 times more than WT20.
