T20 World Cup 2022: The all-awaited T20 tournament that everyone is waiting for will host its first match on October 16 (Thursday) between Sri Lanka and Namibia at the Simonds Stadium, Geelong. This T20 World Cup will be played in two parts. The first round will have eight teams, including Sri Lanka, West Indies, and Zimbabwe, who will play to find a place in the “Super 12”.
Top four teams from the first round will qualify and will play with the other eight teams in the next round. Moreover, top Asian teams that played in the recently concluded Asia Cup in the UAE will also play in the competition. And we have already seen how dangrous Asian teams can be in the competition.
