Former Indian skipper and arguably the best modern-day batsman, Virat Kohli, has turned down 34 today. And although he is in Australia playing the T20 World Cup 2022, cricket lovers and fans from all over the world have sent birthday wishes for the Indian stalwarts.

Virat Kohli is only one of those players who is also loved by the opposition team. Thus, many former and current cricketers from across the globe have wished him, and the Indian cricket fraternity has also made sure that his birthday can become more special.

Virat Kohli is currently in the form of his life in the ongoing T20 World Cup in Australia. He is the leading run scorer in the competition and has already smashed three fifties in four games. Virat has scored 220 runs in four innings for an average of 220. With his last half-century against Bangladesh in the last game, he also went past Mahela Jayawardene (1016) to become the leading run-scorer in the history of the T20 World Cup.

The former Indian skipper made his debut for India on August 18, 2008, against Sri Lanka and the rest is history. He dominated the next decade, which was the reason he was named “Player of the Decade” by the ICC for 2010 to 2020. There are not many batting records that you will not find at the top. He has hit the joint-second-most international centuries (71) with Ricky Ponting. And on this birthday, the whole cricket world has wished him well.
