IPL 2023: Virat Kohli has shown some great batting displays in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League. He has been on fire and carried the momentum on Saturday afternoon. Royal Challengers Bangalore locked horns with Delhi Capitals at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, in an afternoon game. RCB lost the toss and was asked to bat first.

Virat and Faf du Plessis (22 off 16) provided a decent start and made 42 runs for the first wicket. Once the RCB skipper got out, Virat carried the innings and scored his 47th IPL fifty. He smashed it off 33 balls and got out just after making it. He made 50 off 34 balls, with one six and six fours. His celebration after scoring the half-century was like vintage Virat Kohli.

Notably, ahead of the game, there were a few questions over Virat’s strike rate in the match. He looked like he was answering all those trolls in his own style. It was also his third half-century in four games in the IPL 2023. He has scored 213 runs in four innings at an incredible average and strike rate of 71.33 and 147.59.
