He is a vital member of the Black Caps at the top of the order. In his career, Guptill has scored 13,286 runs with 23 centuries and 75 half-centuries along with 379 sixes.

4. Brendon McCullum (New Zealand) between 2002-2016

Former New Zealand skipper, who totally changed the way of batting for New Zealand, is fourth on the list. Brendon McCullum has also promoted the aggressive batting approach that has made him one of the most dangerous players of his generation. McCullum made his international debut in 2002 against Australia and played his last match in 2016, also against Australia. He has played 432 matches across all three formats and scored 14,676 runs, with 19 centuries and 76 half-centuries. McCullum has also hit 398 sixes and 1552 fours.

3. Shahid Afridi (Pakistan) between 1996-2018

Pakistan‘s most destructive batsman is next on the list; “Boom Boom” Shahid Afridi. He made his debut for Pakistan in 1996 against Kenya in an ODI match and played his last match against West Indies in 2018. In his 22-year-long career, Afridi has played 524 matches in three formats and scored 11196 runs with 11 centuries and 51 half-centuries. He has hit 476 sixes and 1053 fours, respectively.

2. Rohit Sharma (India) between 2007-2022*

Next on the list is “Hitman” from India. Rohit Sharma is one of the most destructive and classy batsmen in the modern era. Rohit made his international debut in 2007 against Ireland in an ODI match. He has played 410 matches so far in his career in three formats and scored 16000* runs with 41 centuries and 86 half-centuries. Rohit has hit a total of 477 sixes and 1504 boundaries in total. He will look to take over Gayle’s record before he retire from international cricket. 

1. Chris Gayle (West Indies) between 1999-2021

No one can hit sixes better than this man in this game. “Universe Boss” Chris Gayle is at the top of the list. The left-hander made his debut in 1999 against India in an ODI match and played his last game in 2021 against Australia. He has played 483 matches in three formats and scored 19593 runs with 42 centuries and 105 half-centuries. Gayle is the only player with over 550+ sixes. He has hit 553 sixes with 2332 fours in his career.
