T20 World Cup 2022: Champions, the best white-ball team in the world, showed their dominance in the shortest format as well, and England has become the second team to win the T20 World Cup twice in the history of the game.
England has beaten Pakistan by five wickets in the final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground to lift the World T20 trophy. And it was once again Ben Stokes who played the anchor role in the chase, as he did in the 2019 ODI World Cup final against New Zealand at Lord’s.
The star all-rounder remained unbeaten on 52* off 49 balls, with five fours and one six to seal the deal for England. Stokes stayed till the very end to make sure that England were lifting the trophy. With this win, England has become the only team to win the ODI and T20 World Cups simultaneously.

It didn’t end well for Pakistan, and they were there in the game until ace pacer Shaheen Afridi left the field, and that was the moment that changed the game. In the end, England won it with one over to spare. Sam Curran won both “Man of the Match” and “Player of the Tournament.” The cricketing world also congratulated England on their historic win.
