Meanwhile, the Australian skipper Cummins was asked about the same question during an interaction on Prime Video. Cummins answered, “I’ve only ever played cricket with Sachin Tendulkar, so I’ll go by the name Virat Kohli.”

Though his answer indicates that he was finding it very hard to name one player out of these two Indian greats. The former Indian skipper Virat has been in good form since the 2022 Asia Cup and has scored consistent runs, especially in the white-ball format. He scored two centuries against Sri Lanka in the recently concluded three-match series.

He has now scored 46 ODI centuries, while Sachin has 49 ODI centuries. Virat needs four more to surpass the legend. On the other hand, if we talk about the overall centuries, Sachin scored 100 international centuries, while Virat has scored 74 till now and needs another 26 to touch that magical figure.
