IND vs ENG: India is taking on England in the second semi-final of the ongoing T20 World Cup at the Adelaide Oval. After winning the toss, England put India to bat first. This is a do-or-die game for both teams, and India needed a good start from their openers.
But the same story was repeated once again, and India lost their first wicket for nine runs in the second over of the innings. It was KL Rahul who got out to pacer Chris Woakes, who bowled a wide delivery, and Rahul tried to guide it to the third man but edged the ball and got caught by Jos Buttler behind the wicket.
Rahul got out after scoring five runs off five balls. Notably, this was Rahul’s fourth single-digit score in five games against top-eight ranked teams in the T20 WC 2022. In the last edition, he scored 3 and 18 against Pakistan and New Zealand, respectively.

On the other hand, he scored 4, 9, and 5 against Pakistan, South Africa, and England in the ongoing tournament. And once he was out, fans were quick to mock him.
Apart from Rahul, the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma made a struggling 27 off 28 balls, and Suryakumar Yadav got out on 10-ball 14. India is struggling a bit at the moment.
