IND vs AUS: That is yet another loss while defending the target for the No. 1 ranked T20I team. Australia won the first match by four wickets and took a 1-0 lead in the three-match T20I series. The first T20I was a run feast and more than 400 runs were scored in less than 40 overs.

After winning the toss, Australia chose to bowl first at the Punjab Cricket Association in Mohali. India lost the wickets of Rohit Sharma (11) and Virat Kohli (2) early, but after that, KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav added a 68-run partnership for the third wicket to put together a great platform.

Rahul got out after scoring 55 off 35 and SKY got out on 46 off 25 balls. But in the end, a brilliant unbeaten innings from Hardik Pandya helped India go past the 200-run mark. He made 71* off 30 balls, with seven fours and five sixes. India made 208/6 in their 20 overs.

Chasing the target, Australia got off to a flying start with opener Chris Green smashing the Indian bowlers to all parts of the ground. He scored 61 off 30 balls, but once he got out, Australia lost a few quick wickets. But in the end, an incredible cameo from Mathew Wade sealed the deal for Australia.

IND vs AUS: He remained unbeaten on 45* off 21 balls to win the game for his team. Apart from Axar Patel (3/17), all the Indian bowlers conceded over 10 runs per over. It was yet another loss for India in defending the target, and fans were dissatisfied with India’s bowling performance.
