IND vs AUS: India are all set to take on Australia in a three-match T20I series at home starting on Tuesday, September 20 at the Punjab Cricket Association in Mohali. Both teams arrived in Mohali a couple of days ago and started their practice.

Fans gathered in large numbers to watch the players practice at the nets. In particular, to see the former Indian skipper, Virat Kohli. The 33-year-old has the biggest fan base when it comes to cricket. However, he is also among the top social media celebrities in the world.

Thus, a fan gave the former captain a special gift after the net session on Monday. While going back to their hotel from the ground, Virat was seen interacting with one of his fans, and the fan gave him his portrait.

The Punjab Cricket Association posted a video clip on their Twitter handle in which the Indian team was seen getting out of the South Pavilion after completing their practice session on Monday. All the Indian stars, including KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant, Umesh Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, SKY and other players, could be seen in the video.

The fans, however, had gathered and were waiting for the former India captain. Kohli also stopped to meet his fan, who gifted him a special portrait of himself. India and Australia will lock horns in a three-match T20I, which will end on September 25. Then, they will face South Africa for another three-match T20I series at home.

That series will start on September 20. These two series are against the top two sides before the T20 World Cup. India will fly to Australia on October 6, where they will play two warm-up matches. After a dismal performance in the Asia Cup, Rohit Sharma and his men will look to put up a good show.

India has gone with almost the same side that played in the Asia Cup. They have brought back Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel back into the team after the injuries, while Ravindra Jadeja has been ruled out due to his knee injury. India hasn’t won any ICC tournament since 2013. So, can Rohit Sharma change India’s fortunes or will this ICC trophy drought get wider?
