The legendary Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar has also shared his opinion on it.

The ‘Super 12’ stage is divided into two groups of six in T20 World Cup 2022. Australia, England, New Zealand, Afghanistan, and two qualifying teams are in Group 1, while India, Pakistan, South Africa, Bangladesh, and two other qualifying teams are placed in Group 2. Every team appears to be strong, with a lineup of the best players. Speaking of the prediction, in an interview with Sportstar, Sachin said that he wants India to lift the title.
However, he also named India, along with Pakistan, Australia, and England, as the four favorites to make it to the semi-finals of the competition. He said, “I would want India to be the champion but my top four would be India, Pakistan, Australia and England. New Zealand is a dark horse, so is South Africa because they know the conditions.”
Notably, India are without Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja, which has certainly hurt their chances. Both players were ruled out due to the injury. Mohammed Shami has replaced Bumrah, while India has picked Axar Patel as Jadeja’s replacement. On the other hand, Sachin Tendulkar also highlighted that New Zealand and South Africa can come out of nowhere because they are familiar with these conditions.
