Get ready for another blockbuster movie featuring one of the biggest action stars, Brad Pitt, who is all set to get onto the Formula 1 race track with his upcoming release, F1 The Movie. The movie is all set to be released theatrically on June 27 by Warner Bros.

Fans across the world are really excited to watch another masterpiece by Pitt. Joseph Kosinski has directed the movie, while Ehren Kruger, who has written some epic movies like the Transformers film series: Revenge of the Fallen and Age of Extinction, has written the screenplay of this movie.

Apart from Pitt, the movie will feature some big names like Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, and Javier Bardem, who will be acting in this movie. The movie is made with a budget of $200–300 million and has a duration of 156 minutes (2 hours and 36 minutes).

F1 The Movie: Brad Pitt plays the role of a Cab Driver

The movie is about a local taxi driver in New York City. Pitt is playing that role named Sonny Hayes. He was an F1 racer in his early days but has become a professional gambler and nomadic racer-for-hire. The story presents how he goes back to the F1 racetrack.

Already, two different trailers have been released for the movie on June 7, 2024, and March 13, 2025, respectively. Apple Original Films has the distribution rights, which they bought for a deal worth USD 130-40 million. The world premiere of this movie was screened privately during the Cannes Film Festival in Monaco.

As per the analysts and critics, F1 The Movie is expected to do a business of approximately USD 35-40 million on the opening weekend. The well-known website Rotten Tomatoes has given the movie 87 percent on the review aggregator.

During the screening of the movie, Pitt said, “The teams and the drivers, everyone opened their doors for us, and they are a big part of this movie. They let us in in a way that I would never have expected. It was just an experience I will never forget.”
