The third ODI game between Bangladesh and India has produced two big innings for India. Former Indian skipper Virat Kohli has brought up his 44th ODI century in the ongoing ODI game at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram. Virat, who came out early in the fifth over after the wicket of Shikhar Dhawan (3) added a massive 290-run partnership with Ishan Kishan.

The left-hander played exceptionally well and scored a double century. Ishan made 210 runs off just 131 balls with 24 fours and 10 sixes. With this knock, he also broke Chris Gayle’s record for the fastest ODI double century (215). Gayle scored a double century off 138 balls against Zimbabwe in 2015. Ishan is the fastest batter to reach this milestone off just 125 balls.

On the other hand, Virat played well for his 113 off 91 balls, with 11 fours and two sixes. India is going towards a big total of around 400. Notably, with this century, Virat also surpassed the tall of former Australian captain Ricky Ponting (71 international century) and scored an ODI century almost after two and half year.
