The Hundred Rules: Playing rules and conditions

The Hundred Rules: This is the 100-ball tournament, and every team can play a total of 100 balls in an inning. One bowler can bowl five or ten balls on the trot, which depends on the decision of the fielding captain. The bowling side is allowed to change the ends after 10 balls, and a bowler can bowl a maximum of 20 balls in one innings. Two strategic time-out breaks will be there for the fielding side, and the break will be off for two and a half minutes.

It will be the fielding captain who will decide when to take the time-out. Unlike in other white-ball games, a no-ball in this game will cost the team two runs and a free hit as well. Instead of a 6-over or 36-ball power-play, in a 100-ball game the power-play is off 25 balls with only two fielders allowed. In the event of the slow over rate, the fielding team will have to put one extra fielder inside the 30-yard circle in the last over.
