T20 World Cup 2022: The world has its top four teams, which will play in the semi-finals of the ongoing T20 World Cup in Australia. India, Pakistan, England, and New Zealand will compete for the ultimate glory. The first semi-final will feature New Zealand and Pakistan competing on Wednesday (November 9) at the Sydney Cricket Ground. In the second semi-final, India and England will lock horns at the Adelaide Oval on November 10 (Thursday).

And with India and Pakistan both making it to the semi-final, it has certainly made it bigger. Many former cricketers, cricket pundits, and fans have shown their desire to see India and Pakistan win their semi-finals and play in the final of the tournament to end it in a grand way. These two teams already played a group game, which ended as one of the best T20 games ever. And if they meet in the finals once again, it will be an over the top moment for the cricket lovers.

That’s what even English all-rounder Ben Stokes thinks. He was asked about the probability of an IND-PAK final by an Indian journalist. To that, he replied, “Great news for you guys if it’s the India vs Pakistan final. Look, I don’t know, we are just here to hopefully win on Thursday.”

The journalist also asked him about the brilliant comeback the former Indian captain Virat Kohli has made after facing huge crictisim in recent period. Stokes said, “He has earned the right to be never be written off. You don’t produce the numbers and innings, he has done in all three formats.”

Virat is the highest run-getter in the competition with 246 runs in five games at an average of 123. He has also hit three unbeaten half-centuries so far. He will be the key for India against England because his numbers at Adelaide Oval are staggering.
