Road Safety World Series 2022: Sachin Tendulkar to lead the Indian Legends in the second edition

Sachin will be seen in the upcoming second edition of the Road Safety World Series 2022. He will lead the Indian Legends team in the competition. The organizers of the tournament confirmed the news on Thursday. Notably, Indian Legends were the winners of the first season and will enter the tournament as the defending champions.
So it’s fantastic news for fans that they’ll be able to see their idol play very soon. The tournament will start on Saturday, September 10 in Kanpur. On the other hand, both the semi-finals and the final match will be hosted in Raipur. The final match of the tournament will take place on Saturday, October 1.
Dehradun and Indore are the other two venues which will host the matches of the season. The presence of the legends of the games makes this tournament iconic. Former cricketers from across the globe will take part in this competition. However, New Zealand legends will make their first appearance this season after missing out on the first edition.
They will join the legends from India, England, Australia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. The main aim of this tournament is to promote road safety among the public. That is why the Road Safety World Series is promoted by the Ministry of Information and Technology, Youth Affairs and Sports and the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways of the Government of India.
