As per some media reports, it has been learned that the PCB has decided to sack Ramiz Raja from the post of chairman. Najam Sethi is likely to take over as chairman of the PCB. Notably, Najam stepped down in 2018 as PCB chairman after former cricketer Imran Khan became the new prime minister of Pakistan. Some reports suggest that the secretary of the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC) has submitted the requirements for changing the chairman to the prime minister’s house.
