But there was a bizarre incident that took place in the game. However, it is not related to a catch or anything, but it was a weird DRS by the third umpire.
Well, it happened in the 11th over of the match Mitchell Starc bowled a full delivery to West Indies skipper Nicholas Pooran down the leg side. Pooran missed the ball and it hit his pad. The on-field umpire gave it not out.
However, Aaron Finch went upstairs for the review to check. The reply showed that the ball was going to the leg-side but later the “Hawk Eye” showed that the ball swung and hit the middle and leg stump and it was given out by the third umpire.
Everyone on the field was surprised by the decision. Even the commentator couldn’t believe that it was going to hit the stump. Starc himself went to his bowling mark after watching the first replay, but he was also surprised to see the decision.
